Our Story
In 1996, the year my daughter Erin was born, I was laid off from my job. With a new baby at home, I sat down with the newspaper and started going through the job ads. That's where I spotted an ad for a locksmith school with a picture of a man picking a lock. I was hooked right away. I signed up, finished locksmith school, and I've been a locksmith ever since.
In 2006 my son Eliud was born, and I knew from day one he'd be the next generation. In 2014 I made it official and founded Father & Son Locksmith.
By 2025 Eliud was on the payroll with a brand new truck. Some days he handled jobs on his own, and some days we worked side by side. Then he told me he had bigger plans. He wanted to serve his country in the U.S. Navy. I couldn't be prouder. When he comes home in five years, he'll bring the discipline and focus the Navy gives you, and the "Son" in Father & Son will be back on the road.
Our business has always been family. My nephew Philip has worked alongside me for the last 15 years, since before we became Father & Son Locksmith, and he runs every job like the business is his own.
